Baxter (the cat) was not amused, the falling rocks and area left little in terms of the pampered life and food he was used to. His pet had transformed yet again, this time into a fluttering bird thing...while he had thought of taking a nibble, he had to resist. She was his ticket home and the warmth giver on cold nights. Hopefully soon they would escape this wasteland and step through a new portal.. Perhaps one with big fat field mice or the smelly goodies from the magical opener of cans.. yes.... soon. Or he may just have to resort to taking that nibble.
