Alone it stands beside the track
to guide you home when coming back
The only sight for miles around
our station mailbox in the ground
Built with care from an old drum
so mail and papers can still come
A number plate from our old car
our name to say just who we are
Phones don’t work - don’t even try
Just dip your hat
as you pass by..
