All the DDR goods in the Museum looked kinda cool and retro, but the moment you handled any of them, their shoddy workmanship became quickly apparent. The plastic was all paper-thin and fragile; the synthetic fabrics were ghastly to wear; the Trabant was mostly plastic, and so on.
