side note: i bought a big telescope. a Celestron C8-SGT. i know, it doesn't make a lot of sense since i live in Seattle, but heck. sometimes you feel compelled to just do things.
astrophotography? probably, but damn, general photography techniques looks like a piece of cake compared to what you see in the astronomy world.
