wacky downspout extension

i had to hack off the bottom of the downspout with a hacksaw, move the bracket up, then attach the green thingie.

 

it unrolls when it's full of water, and shoots the water away from the foundation.

 

i'm not confident it's going to work or stay on, but i feel real handy nevertheless.
