Nikon Coolpix 4500 Zoom Button

So the zoom button broke on my camera. But I dismantled it an fixed it myself (maybe not permanently but at least it works and I know the problem now). I ended up wedging new bits of plastic into the mechanism to replace the bits that broke off. The new piece needs to be large enough not to fall out of the slots. You may try superglue, but if you end up glueing something to the wrong piece accidentally, you're screwed really good.
