Speigel by Juame Plensa, Yorkshire Sculpture Park
Realised i've not posted anything this year yet - so: Happy New Year!
Yet another photo of Juame Plensa's Speigel sculpture at the Yorkshire Sculpture Park - this seems to be a continuing theme - we go to the sculpture park quite a bit these days as it's just down the road from where we live, and frankly every time we visit the light and weather around these beautiful structures is different!
If you've not been to see the current Juame Plensa exhibition here yet, I highly reccommend it - tho you'll have to be quick - it closes next sunday! Photos of these structures without anyone in shot is increasingly hard tho - they're very popular (particularly around sunset!) - had to wait quite a while for this one - and was concious i was going to blind myself if i wasnt careful staring at the sun so much!
Gonna be gutted when it all goes, particularly this piece - the setting is just perfect, and it's amazing to people watch here and see how excited people get by it (one little kid ran up to it while we were there this evening shouting "WOW!!!!!")
