Holiday Cottage by the Howgills, Sedburgh

I'd lost this sketchbook, mourned it's passing and memories of the special trip it held. It turned out that friend John had it..so eureka!!!...we're into another short trip..back in 2002 a wonderfully peaceful, lesser known landscape at the outer reaches of the Lake District..one of my favourite places. Fascinating cottage from the outside..great to draw with its mish-mash of differently sized stones and windows.
