A Museum of My Making (365)

I have looked forward to this day all year and been planning it for two months.

And now it's over.

Cue the waterworks.

I think what I loved the most about this is that I got to take the private and public moments I've had for a whole year and put them on display in a place of my choosing. It's like the physical manifestation of my 365.

I haven't liked every picture that I've taken, but I do love that I have taken a picture every day, without cheating, for a whole year. At the beginning, I took pictures in case I needed to cheat, but by this summer, I knew that I wouldn't. It took discipline, but it also lets me look back and see the world as I saw it every day this year.

And I met amazing people through my 365. At school last winter, girls in my dance class hung out with me to model for me, and through that, I made friends. I got closer to Heidi again through our photo adventures (she's reading this over my shoulder. Hi Heidi!), I met flickr friends, and I got to see people in a different way through a camera lens.

And I got a whole heck of a lot better at this photography thing.

So now that I've been sappy, I'll leave you with this:

"Let everything that has breath praise the Lord." - Psalm 150:6
