The inked man - candid street shot

This guy was sat on the pavement with his shirt off on a hot day in Bristol. I have no idea what he was thinking - or possibly seeing - when I shot this candid. Maybe some colourful character had just walked past him. To give this more context, it was the day of the St Paul's carnival in the city, but it was early yet and the music had not started.... but many were in a carnival mood and were chilling in the area.

 

I took this candid of him and then I got a couple of portraits of him after he knew I was shooting.
