ciento setenta y uno

Tweedles 33/52

it was a relatively low-key weekend. as in, we had nothing planned except for painting my bedroom, and getting rid of a bunch of stuff that we've had off to the side for the longest to get rid of, but just never actually did. and while by the end of the weekend, i was exhausted and complaining of my back hurting and feet aching, i'm so glad that i was able to spend time w/ these guys. :)

in the end, if there's anything the last year has taught me is to not wait around hoping people and their bullshit get better. if and when they do, it's up to me at that point to decide if i still want them in my life and if they don't, then i'm not trying to just sit back and worry and hope that people realize that you do count on them, like they counted on you at one (or many, for that matter) time. b/c, none of that will rob the greatness that i could and will be doing w/ my life.

sorry for the rant. this has nothing to do w/ last year, just simply that some people and situations are disappointing, but if i can just take a step back and realize that, instead of pouting over trying to change it, then i'm alright.
