ochenta y seis

You cast a spell on me, spell on me, You hit me like the sky fell on me

The sun goes down

The stars come out

And all that counts

Is here and now

love that song! i've heard it 3 times already this morning. dance w/ me!

i got my new baby yesterday! :D my other baby, the D90, was busted so badly, they gave me a replacement instead - a D7000.

and she feels so good in my hand.

the controls are a bit different so i have to re-learn that, since i could practically set my manual settings with my other camera in the dark, blindly!

the hubs told me it had been delivered to his office as i was running out for a quick lunch break, and i turned around to go pick it up from the girls at the front desk, even though he wasn't in. bwahahah! i think i realized my excitement was from having my first very own out of the box camera. well, i started shooting w/ a D60 but i didn't shop it (hubs did) nor knew what i was doing w/ it for the first few months, and then i 'inherited' the D90 after hubs upgraded and after going through my 1st project and pro gigs and learning so much about it, it was my baby.

but now... i know what i'm doing, understand so much more than a few years back, and i opened the box, so she saw me first, so automatically KNOWS i'm mama. hahaha. i know that was dumb.

her name is "Lit". the D90 had no name, and this name came to me yesterday after i heard my favorite song,"My Own Worst Enemy" yesterday. on pandora it was a 90s kinda day and today might be the same.

anyway, happy tuesday!
