something about a barbershop.

 

i love being able to just hang, sit back, drinking my coconut water and hear the talk back and forth. honest and funny. all the while, they're handling their business w/ the ones in their chair. it's an art; creating and perfecting clean lines. i appreciate the art and craft behind the hair business, even for the men. a man with a clean, fresh cut is the hotness.

 

this is jose, doing his thing. definitely has the hand and eye. the moment he pulled out his straight-edge blade, i whoa'd to myself b/c well, yes - a blade! i was wanting to catch him using it, so very much, but at the same time, didn't want to disturb him or the shop. it was full and busy. maybe another day, when it's slower.
