once

i can see clearly now, the rain is gone

 

i got my new Rx glasses and it was a relief to have clear vision. However, I realized the next morning that the guy that tried to fit them, cracked the frame. Grr! and what got me more upset is that he laughed when he said, "don't try this at home" as he was bending the legs w/o warming it up first. And I replied w/, "with as long as I've been wearing glasses, I KNOW not to try that on my own". but b/c i had no contacts in and he had the glasses in his hand, I didn't see the crack until I did.

 

So, the glasses are back in the lab, and hopefully I'll get back in about 2 days. Meh.

 

And that sky isn't blown out, it was just a sad gloomy grey day.

 

AND if you want to read a funny story, proceed. If not, that's fine w/ me too, I know y'all don't read everything here anyway. ;P

 

So, I have a Dr's appointment today and I'm told to put on the gown that was provided. And I get this stupid ass fucking bright idea of getting my shot THERE b/c of the dr's office setting and the fact that I had those shoes on, up there, and it'd be quite a funny pair w/ the ugly gown provided. So, I quickly set up my settings, compose my shot, jump up on the little bed in there, cross my legs, and aim w/ my remote and at the same effin time, i hear ONE knock and the front desk nurse opens the door! "oh!!!! i'm sorry", and she leaves. gah!!! c'mon lady! one knock and you enter?! and of course, it's just my luck to try a shot like that and then get caught. so, i scurried, got my camera back in my bag, took off my shoes, and waited for the dr. and that was that.
