174.365 :: Hospital Wonderland

This is what I ended up doing as HunHun slept upstairs and I'd go down for snacks and lunch - which really wasn't much. I was sort of tethered to him and the room for the most part.

A big part of me, even though it's considered an outpatient procedure and relatively easy peasy, was uneasy, nervous and anxious.

I told him that I'm not use to being the stonger one of the two of us. And seeing my big ol' papabear in a hospital bed unable to do much of anything is a mind trip.

Our first night there, we even snuggled up together to sleep in his bed for the last 2 hours before we were woken up to get ready for pre-op. <3

Aside from having such a great brother-in-law that was there just about the whole weekend, I was super lucky and am so grateful that my mom and sister helped me w/ the Tweedles the entire weekend. It helped me not have to worry if they were alright, b/c i knew they would be.

We were discharged Sunday midday or so, and we spent the rest of the afternoon at home, back w/ the Tweedles and had my mom and sister help until close to bed time. When the kiddos went to bed, we went straight to bed too. It was 8pm and we were DONE. HunHun watched a bit of basketball, I tried finishing my book, but 30 mins later we were both knocked out.

I wish I could be home right now to try and keep sleeping and fully get caught up, but having Friday off already (due to school being closed for kids) I figured I'd come in today.

The countdown is on for the weekend!
