170.365 :: I Need...
for Project SoulPancake: Give A Stranger A Sincere Compliment
Last week I was in a crazy run-around w/ one of the Tweedles having high fevers. On one of those days, as I walked into a gas station I saw a lady w/ a tank top that said, "I Need Therapy". White letters on black. Simple. To the point.
I told her I loved what her shirt said. She smiled and I replied w/ "really, I do love you're wearing it".
I liked it mostly b/c whether it was true or not for her, it spoke of something that is needed, and one that in particular some people aren't comfortable admitting. Maybe I read too much into it, or am still, but it just seemed so honest. Raw.
I tend to know what I need in my life, a lot. Even when it takes me a bit to admit it outloud or to myself. What sucks about that is when others don't respect boundaries and those needs aren't as easy to attain or get done.
