Art At Arm's Reach
Week 2 of project SoulPancake
STEP ONE
Scavenge around your desk, barstool, couch cushions for anything handy. And we mean anything: paper clips, poker chips, fake eyelashes, junk mail, bullet casings.
STEP TWO
CREATE ART.
STEP THREE
Bask in your artistic brilliance.
Repeat as desired.
I is for Imagination
I don't have the brain for arts 'n' crafts. While I love how scrapbooks look, and can super appreciate art and love it for what it is, I don't think it comes to me naturally.
So for this week's challenge, I put on some Adele and Anna Nalick on my earphones, and made this! Complete w/ purple grass. Haha.. The sun came to me first, and the rest just kinda fell into it's place.
Items used and found at my desk:
- wooden coffee stir sticks
- the plastic top of my lemonade bottle
- the background is art from one of my sons that I have hanging up on my cube wall
- kleenex tissue
- straw paper covers
- yellow & purple highlighters & a black sharpie
- a stapler
- and spongy material that is sold for art
