Staying on Course
The Zorrilla Bridge reopened shortly before our visit after having been closed for a few months for restoration. It originally opened in 1918. Hard to believe but it was apparently two lanes before this year's closure. I read letters complaining that the town hasn't signed it as one lane now, even though it's pretty obvious that's the idea. Another hard to believe... the town had to post online that drivers need to stay on the raised platforms, as some were damaging the newly-repaired deck by driving on it instead.
