Feel the love...
This is my first attempt at No-flash long exposure night photography - SOOC.
It was the last shot of the night and it was already quite dark. Yup, you've guessed it - another sunset from my favourite spot. Every time is different though - no 2 sunsets are the same. Last night, Eleanore and I stayed a little bit longer than I normally do. What was also amazing was how yellow the sunset started out when we left my house - hardly a golden glow. It quickly turned to solid, rich gold, then to a beautiful, strong amber and finally a glorious, hot pink.
This shot is not quite as crisp and clear as I would've liked it because of the fires we're having in the Cape. Still, I think it's pretty good for a first attempt - I even got some lightstreams from the passing cars on the highway in the foreground and some starry lights (what do you call those things, Dave?) from the sports ground!
I left this one uncropped so you can share in the view that I see when I stand there on that hill.
