Hollywood Studios: Sorcerer Mickey
When we were walking into Hollywood Studios this past trip I had to stop, stare at this scene, and figure out why it felt so out of place. It finally dawned on me that this work of art had been inside the park, next to Brown Derby, for as long as I could remember. And, yet, now it's outside!
I found that both the Fisheye and this new location made for an excellent photo opportunity and I was up for the challenge. This was one of those shots that reminded me of how wide the Rokinon truly is, because I literally had to get half my body over the rail to move it out of frame.
My favorite part of this capture, however, is Mickey's shadow. It's so, so awesome.
