Boing II (Explored)
We had a bit of snow last week and the bucks were a little frisky toward each other. This was the buck that was fleeing from an earlier post of a buck jumping. In the "heat" of the moment I failed to compose with front hoofs in frame - Sorry - the balance of the shots were a bit over exposed in a couple of the shots below but I liked the Flying body position mid-jump. I was also amazed to see how level they hold their head when juming. I guess peripheral vision allows them to do this. The other buck was relentless in the pursuit, but I never got to see them fight ...I've have had quite a few Mule Deer around the last week and will be posting them over the next few days. Thank you for your comments.
