Just one shot before I hit the sack from tonight's Courtney Love gig.
Former Hole front-woman, and the rock-chick everyone loves to hate, Courtney Love played the second of two shows at West London's Shepherd's Bush Empire, playing a 90-minute set of classic Hole hits as well as a smattering of her solo material including recently released double a-side tracks Wedding Day and You Know My Name.
The mixed crowd went wild for classic Hole hits such as Miss World, Malibu, Violet and set closer Jennifer’s Body.
Love appeared on stage after a false start in something approximating a Japanese Kimono, which slowly came off and left Love in a tight playsuit exposing a little too much of her 49-year-old chest!
Love her or hate her, she’s every bit the riot girl we saw in 1994 and a show woman who knows how to please her audience.
