He was deep in thought as he struggled through the deep snow that adhered to his not quite appropriate shoes for a cold Montreal winter. As the old man approached nearer, I could see that his eyes were turned downward, not noticing me snapping again and again. What I thought may have been a smile, was actually a wince from some pain. This was a difficult task, walking through the storm. I was wondering what were his thoughts. What was his story? A solitary soul that for just one moment crossed my path and was photographically captured and immortalized forever to be seen by thousands, maybe millions and yet never being aware of it.
