My black tailed japanese bantan cockerel singing it out loud! At 6 month old, he's still learning, and he really hasn't gotten it yet at all. He sounds like a cat coughing up a hariball...
Raising the chickens has been so much fun. They are most amusing, and actually, make good pets too. Having them and appreciating them has changed the way i eat. I am still eating chicken, but unless i know it's from a humane, pastured farm, i won't eat it ("organic" doesn't mean it's cage free; "free range" does not mean they have the ability to forage outside, they could be uncaged inside a crowded barn). And now that i have my own eggs, I don't buy them anymore so that problem is solved (plus the taste is night and day vs store bought)!
