CDF is in da house

well, in the collision hall... first time since 2002.

 

The CDF experiment was one of the two detectors at the Fermilab Tevatron, which was the world's highest energy collider, colliding protons and anti-protons, until the LHC took over in 2009. The Tevatron was turned off in 2011.
