Binary

I always struggle to count in binary. This is a drawing I made to visually illustrate the difference between base 10 and base 2.

 

In both scenarios, 15 litres are poured in the containers. In the first example, 15 litres fills 1.5 10 litre buckets. In the second example, 15 litres fills 7.5 buckets. Each bucket represents a counting step.
