It’s the School of Art's Try-annual exposition of that iconic, ironic and bombastic event where concepts careen freely down the mild and wild racecourse of the Cut.

The Anti-Gravity Art on a Roll Derby returned to CMU on April 19, smack in the middle of Spring Carnival.

This anarchic alternative to CMU's famed Buggy race is now open to all College of Fine Arts students, faculty, staff in Art, Architecture, Design, Drama, and Music.

Also, in celebration of the 100 year anniversary of the College of Fine Arts Building, there was an Historic and Hysteric Division, featuring run-ditions of the whirled history of art going downhill. Augmenting that idea will be the Crassic Car Division with a few petards from the past still ready to trundle.

Derby originator and multi-media artist Pat Oleszko, 2010 Kraus Visiting Professor of Art, returned to revvv engines and remind us all that we can be a triumphant tortoise... on a roll.
