Still Grand

The former lobby of the Michigan Theatre, designed in 1926 by the architectural firm of Rapp & Rapp. The interior was converted in a parking garage in 1977, and still remains so today.

 

Visible here is the lobby wall, which is still somewhat intact despite having cars driving below.
