So, I had this grand plan. The moon was supposed to rise at 5:06pm and the sun was supposed to set at 5:14pm. I was going to capture the moon with some lingering sunlight along the ridge of mountains and it would all be like freaking magic.
I think, however, the moonrise time that I Googled and found on several sites for MY CITY didn't account for the fact that we've got some substantial mountains on our eastern horizon line. The moon did not come over the mountain ridge until more like 5:40. It was fully dark by then. POOP.
