What is the best way to go to the train station ? By running through the forest in fresh snow. With yaktrax chains and the right clothes, it was really a pleasure. The castle park was an obvious choice to reach the city center. And this particular hill was already a great spot for photos in summer, with a beautiful green scenery.
This time it was a totally different mood, and I was very lucky to have this man quietly walking down the hill, right in the center. Five minutes earlier, or five minutes later, and this photo would have felt very different. It was cold, I was in running clothes and heading to my train, so waiting was not an option. This photo was just meant to be. Luck is an important factor in photography.
