There's a little story to go with this girl. She was being sold with another ambrotype who was obviously her sister, they were wearing the same dresses, but the other was younger and holding a
doll.. I tried to get them both, but her sister went for too much for me and so unfortunately these poor sisters have been separated after 150 years together!... That may be why she looks so unimpressed with me... I'm hoping that one if you Flickrites bought the other and that they can still be together in some fashion....
