where're the books?
Right, so, about that. Because our kitchen is so storage-starved, we've realized the only solution is to get some sort of storage in the living room. I've settled on the idea of a china cabinet -- this allows us to keep the "ugly stuff", i.e. food and pantry items in the kitchen and the prettier stuff like dishes and glassware on display -- but I also want to get something we can own for a long time, perhaps even for one day when our regular dishes fit back in a different kitchen and we can bring our actual wedding china out from Alex's parent's basement and have a nice place to keep it. So that's the "easy" part.
The harder part is tax expenses + moving expenses + still paying for two apartment expenses + now we have to buy more furniture too? It doesn't hurt that I've fallen in love with a not-exactly budget-minded model. But it sure will all look lovely in here. One day.
And that's the Day Three progress report!
