Everyone warned that shooting in RAW sucks memory up, but I never worried because in my entire digital camera-owning life, I have never filled up a memory card. I'm rather conservative about the photos that I take, and if I take 5 of something, often delete 3 of them before even offloading the images.
... Which is all a lengthy way of saying that at 80 pictures, we ran out of memory! And memory cards in Paris, which came in only 6 and 8GB, were INSANELY expensive (like 80 euro, or probably $120), totally not worth it given that we had 1.5 days left. So what did we do? We began sacraficing photos, ones that probably weren't going to turn out anyway.
We mostly agreed but Alex kept insisting that this picture was "eh" and I thought it was "gifted".
Maybe he was right. (Shh, don't tell him.)
