There are very complicated hut politics at the Westin Aruba. Seeing as I am pale, and spend only a minimum of time each hour in the sun (Aruba is about 100 miles from the equator and that sun is not messing around) --actually, I spend exactly five minutes an hour in the sun, with SPF 50 on; yes, I time it--getting one of these things is very important but there aren't nearly enough to go around and the only way to assure that one can reserve one for the day is to get there first: at 6 a.m. Alex took care of this every single day, and then went back to bed at 6:07 a.m. until 10. I told you it was complicated. But isn't he sweet?
