I've been experimenting a bit with my macro lens and focal lengths/ f nos etc.
Often it's not till I've uploaded the results to my pc that I know exactly what I've captured because when I'm actually taking the pics, I use the live view magnifier to get a sharp focus on a particular spot, which becomes lost [the spot, not the sharpness] when back to normal viewing.
Once I see the pic on my pc I often decide a 'crop' is in order and, depending on how much of the original I want to lose, I will use the 'resize' tool in PSP first.
