Greetings from sasrai-Movement that works voluntarily since 2004 across the globe aimed at promote prudent and sustainable consumption and conservation, optimum use and reduce the abuse of resources. sasrai target to animate, activate each individual, family, community, institution, organization to Combat Climate Change, Global Warming, food, fuel, water, poverty, hunger, disaster, waste, ecosystem, biodiversity - finally reverse the devastating trend of globe. sasrai is the road map towards the implementation of the United Nations Millennium Declaration - sasrai brings into focus Six MDGs, 09 time-bound targets and 31 quantitative indicators.

 

`Leave no one behind’ Demand Drastic Action

 

UNEP’s conceptual integrated framework, a trilogy, states that the road to sustainability needs to address at least three key principles:

 

Leave no one behind and provide a life of dignity for all.

Live within our means and achieve greater prosperity in an inclusive manner within the capacity of the Earth’s life support system.

Leave something behind by increasing natural, social and economic capital to achieve greater resilience and secure future generations’ livelihoods.

 

To address these three key principles we are in need to build a caring society and that’s possible if individual have mindset `how much less consuming I could be and how much I could sacrifice for other, in each step let’s save a bit, reserve, preserve, rejuvenate and conserve resources.’ No matter how small the saving each one should have mindset that’s require a mass mobilization. And that’s a very tough job `bringing significant change and mindset, behavior and attitude.’

 

Along with this we must remember - Everything on this planet is symbiotically connected - plants, animals, humans and the Earth itself. Unfortunately our maximum program Human focused. Let’s ponder on design the program, message and material inclusive.
