3D Scan of the Orion Spacecraft

SME worked with Lockheed Martin, FARO Technologies, Direct Dimensions, Inc., Met-L-Flo, Inc., Florida Institute of Technology and CINCINNATI INCORPORATED to take the first-ever 3D scan of the Orion pressure vessel and the Orion spacecraft model. The scanning was completed with the FARO Focus3D X 330 Laser.

Small-scale replicas will be 3D printed and used as giveaways at RAPID 2016.
