Scammell Showtrac JFJ 367 "The Showman" of Anderton & Rowland, Antrim June 1990
Anderton & Rowland Scammell tractor and geneator unit. Gardner engined, registration JFJ 367. I suspect no 7, THE SHOWMAN, was already out of the A&R fleet by then,and in preservation as their normal area is the west of England, not Northern Ireland.. More about the Anderton and Rowland Scammell Showtrac fleet here. The site also has information on A&R's ERF and Foden fleets. THis registration dates from 1.7.1979 but the vehicle is much earlier. Still in use 2010.
More information on this blog which says that A&R only used the vehicle a short while, passing to a Mrs Deakins. In preservation since 1974.
