The staff of the CFR Romanian railways seemed to take great pride in their fine locomotives. The class 060 EA was renumbered Class 40, being Romanian built (Electroputere of Craiova) electric locomotives of swedish design (ASEA Swedloc), of which 922 entered service with CFR. 060 EA1 class were built for faster express work and became class 41.
