Mexican Fire Bricks
When I built my first house in 1975, I bought a truck and trailer load of hand made bricks from Mexico. They are called Mexican Fire Bricks. When I started my second house in 1982, I bought another truck and trailer load to add to the remainder of the first load. Total, there were 44 pallets and about 40,000 bricks. I paid 8 cents a piece for them - delivered! I now have just one pallet left.
