I decided to take the plunge and "build" myself a home studio. I got some shop lights and a bunch of black canvas. I'm putting grommets in the fabric so I can hang it from nails on the wall when I need it, then take it down and store it when I don't. I have no idea if any of this is going to work, but I suppose it's better than nothing.
I had planned to do the FGR "Dinner and a Movie" challenge today, but I just didn't have time. Too bad, too. I was going to do this whole "Evil Dead 2" bloody hand chopping scene in the kitchen. Maybe I'll do it one of these days just for the hell of it.
Kurt left this morning for a short (4 days) business trip. I already miss him. Crazy, right? This is the first night we've spent apart since we got married. I mean, yeah, it's only been six weeks, so it's not like some great accomplishment. It's more of a symbolic thing. You go through this whole series of "firsts," and most of them are great, but some of them... not so much.
