Gorilla Family - Columbus - Oliver's Group
This is the gorilla family (silverback: Oliver) currently living in Columbus (OH), United States.

Please note: Oliver was born in 1988 in the Bronx Zoo (NY) to Tunuka and Barney, hence his full name Oliver T. Barney. He was hand-raised and transfered to Memphis (TN) at the age of 6. In 2003 he returned to the Bronx Zoo, in 2006 he was brought to Gorilla Haven (GA), a private facility where he was taken care of by Jane T. Rasmussen-Dewar and Steuart Dewar. Since 2009 Oliver, who is deaf, lives at the Columbus Zoo.
