Day 15 - Tethering in LR3

Day 15 – Tethering in LR3

(NOTE: I haven’t given up on my 365 project. In actuality I’ve been sick since Saturday night with Strep Throat, high fevers. Finally got on some medicine and am feeling a lot better now. I have actually shot photos every day for the 365 though, so no worries. Just posting them late)

I woke up this morning at 6AM feeling as if I had shards of glass going down my throat every time I swallowed. I knew it wasn’t a good sign, but I was able to get through the morning drinking a lot of Hot Green Tea with Honey and gargling salt walter. I didn’t do much today photography wise, but since my trial version of Aperture 3 had ran out over the weekend I downloaded the new Adobe Lightroom 3 Beta 2 and decided to give it a go with the 365 project being a good testing ground. It does have a cool feature (that Aperture is supposed to have, yet it didn’t seem to work on my camera) where you an tether the camera straight into LR. This is really a valuable tool when on a shoot with your laptop and a whole crew that is taking a look at the shots as they come in. It is always nice to have a huge reference vs. the back of the camera. I thought it was kind of cool that I took a photo of my screen showing an image of my camera and screen which was showing an image of my screen…. Yeah, I’m a little nerdy like that. :)

Enjoy
