M51 - Whirlpool Galaxy

Hit the 12 hour mark with some more fine weather tonight. I'm happy with how it looks after half a day of exposure time!

 

Imaged between 29/02/12 - 20/03/12 the image comprises of 3 hours of Lum, Green, Red and Blue. Processed in Pixinsight and CS5.
