NGC 2403 #EXPLORED

NGC 2403 is an intermediate spiral galaxy in Camelopardalis, and is an outlying member of the M81 galaxy group, lying at a distance of approx 8m light years.

 

This galaxy also has the honour of it's own catalogued HII star forming region, seen just to the left on the edge of the central core, NGC 2404.

 

A total exposure time of 9.83 hours with an Altair Astro 6" RC and Atik 460ex. Captured in SGPro and processed in Pixinsight and CS5.
