M33 #EXPLORED
M33 is the smallest of the spiral galaxies that make up our local group (containing around 1/10th of the number of stars as The Milky Way), at a distance of 3 million light years it is thought to be a satellite of M31, the Andromeda Galaxy.
This image is a combination of data captured during 2014 and 2015, totalling 14.5 hours of exposure time.
