Wetzel County, West Virginia: Hydraulic fracturing underway in the Lewis Wetzel Wildlife Management Area, a public hunting area managed by WV Dept. of Natural Resources. In addition to air quality and water quality issues, the large amount of surface disturbance from clearing wellpads and building roads has resulted in increased forest fragmentation and significant erosion issues - including "slips", a technical term for a small landslide.
