Aglow [Explored]
On the night of May 30th, I experienced an unforgettable evening under the stars in California's Alabama Hills. After an initially overcast start, the skies cleared just after moonset—revealing an awe-inspiring display of airglow unlike any I’ve seen before.
Waves of vivid red and green airglow rippled across the night sky, so intense they nearly obscured the delicate features of the Milky Way. Arcing from Cygnus to the galactic core, the Milky Way stretched brilliantly across the sky, perfectly framed by a natural rock arch in the foreground.
