Close Encounter [Explored]
During my post Solar Eclipse trip in April 2024, I headed to Devils Tower National Monument. While scouting for sky alignments, I realized that not only was I able to capture the tower with the rising Milky Way core, but I also had a short window of opportunity to shoot it with the setting winter Milky Way and Orion.
Fortunately, the afternoon clouds cleared quickly enough for me to capture this 'close encounter' of Orion with Devils Tower that I had never seen before.
