Desert Bugs [Explored]
I've encountered some unpleasant insects during my astrophotography travels, but these two guys are an exception. Despite their scary appearance, the scorpion and grasshopper sculptures by Ricardo Breceda in Borrego Springs are very well-behaved.
They are often photographed with the Milky Way core, but I haven't seen any images of them under the winter Milky Way, which I'm quite surprised as they look amazing under all the red hydrogen emission nebulae.
EXIF
Canon EOS-R, astro-modified
Sigma 28mm f/1.4 ART
IDAS NBZ filter
iOptron SkyTracker Pro
Sky:
Vertical panorama of 3 panels, each a stack of 10x 30s @ ISO800 5x 90s @ ISO3200
Foreground:
Focus stack of 5x 1/60s during blue hour
